A perfect little tree for the low maintenance gardener! It doesn’t get very big, requires little water once established, and doesn’t create a lot of waste. The dense foliage is often used as a hedge and it can also work well as a windbreak due to it’s good wind tolerance.
It can also be grown in more sandy soils as it is commonly used wordwide to stabilise sand dunes and reduce soil erosion due to its amazing roots having soil-binding properties!
