Azalea 'Alba Magnifica' is a hardy, vigorous growing Azalea bearing a profusion of large single white flowers with a slight perfume in spring and again as spot flowers in autumn.
Prefers a full sun to part shade position with a well-drained, humus rich soil that is slightly acidic. Is hardy once established. Prune after flowering to maintain a compact shape, mulch well during extended dry periods and fertilise with an Azalea specific or a complete organic fertiliser in spring and late summer. If flowers are becoming mushy this might be a sign of petal blight, pick off and dispose of then with appropriate fungicides. Azaleas are also susceptible to insect attack treat with appropriate pesticides.
